This July we welcomed Ryan, a recent De Montfort University graduate onto our talented Micro-Fresh team as our Marketing and Creative intern, with help from the Universities ‘Graduate Champions Scheme’. The scheme looks to provide mutually beneficial opportunities for organisations and University graduates, offering real world, high-quality experience.
Ryan joins us after finishing his Advertising and Marketing Communications BA Hons degree at De Montfort University, where he will go on to complete a masters degree in Marketing Management MSc.
23-year-old Ryan said: “I applied through the DMU graduate scheme as I wanted some summer work that was relevant to my degree and would boost my employability prospects.”
“I was delighted to hear that I’d been offered the position and in the short time I’ve been here everyone has been so welcoming. Micro-fresh is a really unique working environment that everyone, including myself seems to thrive on.”
“I’ve already enjoyed so much of my internship and I look forward to working on future projects and immersing myself more into the business, learning as much as I can on the way”
Byron Dixon, Founder and CEO of Micro-Fresh said: “We are proud to support and develop early graduates such as Ryan and offering these kind of internship opportunities to those at their beginning of their career timelines is something I love to do.”
“The rewards are not one-sided of course, Micro-Fresh will also benefit from Ryan’s Knowledge and creativity from everything he’s learned during his time at De Montfort University and I wish Ryan the best with his time with us.”
